26/07/26 – FUTURE REMAINS: Field Notes, Treasure Hill Artist Village, Taipei, TW

Presented alongside his exhibition, Jakob Sinn aka NNIS transformed the gallery’s context into an immersive sonic experience. Utilizing field recordings gathered from both the historic coal-mining sites of northern Taiwan and the high-tech regions shaped by the semiconductor industry, he created a dialogue between natural and industrial environments, weaving together different temporal layers and visions of the future.
During this event, he actively reworked and recontextualized his archival materials, shaping an evolving live composition that unfolds uniquely in the moment to challenge how we listen to the remnants of yesterday and tomorrow.
